Flu season is approaching! Scotia Square Medical Clinic will be administering flu shots. Flu shots are available for all Nova Scotia Health Card holders, ages 6 months and up, at no cost.
Individual flu shots and other common vaccinations will be available at our walk-in clinic.
Studies have shown that companies that implement a flu vaccination program have less sick days and a healthier work force. We offer a comprehensive flu vaccination program. Arrange for our team to visit your office for a company flu shot appointment. Call 431-1800 to register. Out of province visitors are also welcome.
We are pleased to provide well women clinics . PAP and Breast exams can be scheduled with our clinic - no referral is necessary. The clinic will run two mornings a month. Please call 431-1800 to book an appointment.
The following Women's Health Services are offered at our Clinic (Please note: These services ARE covered by MSI.)
These are services offered at the clinic that are not covered by the provincial insurance plan. The cost of these services is the responsibility of the patient, although some may be fully or partially refundable by certain private or group insurance providers.
We will have several appointment slots reserved for those who need their prescriptions filled. Patients can make appointments to renew their prescription.
We do not refill sedatives and narcotics; patients have to see their regular physicians who normally prescribe their sedative and narcotics for chronic use.
